Hard Work Is Cheap Work

After a day of lifting, shifting, sawing, drilling, screwing, and reassembling, I have added extra capacity to an IKEA Billy shelf unit. This is like adding extra eyes to a potato…you wonder why you do it.

In my case it is because the basic Billy is too shallow by 40 mm for my model airplane collection. I had a stack of 40 mm pine lengths and a workshop full of old screws. Rather than spend money, I spent time and effort. The job is done and the model airplanes are safe…and not a penny was wasted.

This is even more rewarding than virtue or magnificence. Whatever the heck they are…

Note: Get ‘Er Done is a fine motto for any man.
